Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Meg Freed
Dr. Meg Freed has been in private practice since 2012 and brings extensive post-graduate training to Modern Dental. She has completed several hundred hours of continuing education, including the Georgia MaxiCourse for Implant Dentistry, advanced IV sedation training, and the SPEAR education continuum.
In addition to comprehensive and implant dentistry, Dr. Meg has advanced training in Botox therapy for clenching, migraines, and esthetic treatments. She is passionate about combining clinical excellence with a caring, patient-focused approach.
Dr. Meg graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2008. Prior to dental school, she earned degrees in Finance and Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa.
She also served in the United States Navy Dental Corps from 2008 to 2012, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
Dr. Chris Freed
Dr. Chris Freed earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with Honors from the University of Iowa before graduating from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2008.
Following dental school, he served in the United States Navy from 2008 to 2012 and later in the Navy Reserves as a Lieutenant Commander.
His military service helped shape his disciplined, patient-focused approach to care.
Dr. Chris has advanced training through the Georgia IV Sedation program and SPEAR education continuum.
He is committed to providing comprehensive, efficient, and high-quality dentistry in a comfortable setting.
